Both resident and nonresident higher education opportunities abound in the region as well. The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown is located on a 650 acre wooded campus. UPJ combines a strong academic reputation and outstanding resources of a major university with the appeal of a smaller college. St Francis University is a co-educational liberal arts college and an MBA program offered from the"college among the pines" campus in Loretto. Cambria - Rowe Business College serves students in business administration, accounting and microcomputer applications. Mount Aloysius College, a small liberal arts college with a Catholic affiliation, offers four year degrees, including masters, two-year associate and certificate programs. Pennsylvania Highlands Community College offers associate degree programs at both their Johnstown and Ebensburg campuses.
