Financing

While Cambria County Industrial Development Authority does not directly provide grants or loans to businesses, we do provide organizations with the information necessary to obtain low interest loans and financing through state and local programs.

For business start-ups, this is especially important. The organization is able to effectively assist businesses by utilizing the resources available--CCIDA is able to partner with other companies upon ascertaining the needs of our clients to assist in obtaining the needed funds or loans.

Some of the organizations we have partnered with include Johnstown Area Regional Industries (JARI), Southern Alleghenies Planning and Development, Cambria County Alliance for Business and Industry and Saint Francis Small Business Development Center. Through IDA financing, tens of thousands of jobs have been retained and thousands more have been created. With the tremendous assistance of IDA loans, new businesses in Cambria County have been created, while others have expanded. These loans totaled over $300,000,000. Additionally, bond issues contributed another $1,000,000,000.
